About us
Built by fans.
For the friars.
Padresd Fan HQ is an independent San Diego Padres fan site, run out of San Diego. It started as a place to keep an eye on the score and grew into a small community — live game tracking, fan-written posts, a gallery of photos from the stands, and a daily trivia leaderboard.
Independent
No club, network, or league signs off on anything here. Nobody tells us what to write, and we've no access to trade because of it.
Sourced
Scores, schedules, rosters, and stats come straight from the public MLB Stats API. History is checked before it's published — and corrected in the open when we get it wrong.
Fan-first
The best stuff here is submitted by fans: posts, photos from the stands, comments, trivia scores. A human reads every submission before it goes live.
Honest about money
The site runs on ads and affiliate links, and both are labelled. Neither buys a mention. If we ever take a sponsorship, it'll say so on the page.
Where the numbers come from
Live scores, the schedule, standings, rosters, headshots, and player game logs are pulled from MLB's public Stats API and refreshed continuously. Transaction news is checked every fifteen minutes. It can lag or glitch — for anything that actually matters, check the official source. Corrections are welcome and we act on them.
How fan submissions work
Sign in with Google and you can write a post, upload a photo, comment on stories, and play the daily trivia question. Everything goes to a moderation queue first; nothing appears with your name on it until a person has looked at it. You keep ownership of what you submit and can have it removed at any time — the rules are in the terms and what we store is in the privacy policy.
Get in touch
Tips, corrections, and complaints all go to the same place: the contact page or hello@padresd.com.
